Put this pair together an hour ago and found them locked up when I took a peak at them just now. I guess I spoke too soon about not witnessing any copulations!

Good for you Erik. Looks like a lock to me. Have them do it a few more times the next several days and chances are there will be some real nice hatchlings this summer.

Is that hypo a regular tricolor hypo or is it het amel too? And what about the female amel, is it het hypo?

Whatever the case is, those are a nice pair of hondos !

Actually the male is a hypo het anery and the female is a albino het anery. My anery het albino male was too small still this year so I figured this pair would make some nice hold backs for me. Thanks again for your help!

You're welcome. That pairing then should throw you some anerys that are definite het hypo and albino. These anerys with definite double hets have great potential in the future. The normal looking hatchlings should be definite dbl hets for hypo and albino and 67% poss het anery.

Ya I plan on holding back a few of these animals if she does produce a fertile clutch I have another few females that I am rotating that hypo tri-colour male through. I will post pics if I find them locked up!

My most exciting pair is a huge 6' DH ghost female that I am pairing up with that hypo. I am hoping for a ghost!!!

I have seen some of this action myself .. nothing more "explicit" so to speak. Hoping for the best! One of my females looks pregnant from a male 2 weeks ago! Fingers crossed ...
