Never before has this forum been as rife with posts as has been the case since the introduction of HB2414. As an out-of-state herper whose input to your legislative reps will never carry the weight of you Texans who have consolidated your time, energies, and resources to combat this measure, I for one, and perhaps on behalf of all out-of-staters who have been drawn into this drama, extend a profuse "thank-you" for your efforts in helping this measure to not become law in its present form. I know the fat lady hasn't sung yet, but it looks like she is going through her warm-ups. Good luck to all of you who value what many of us have long taken for granted as a God-given right to enjoy the flora and fauna of the highways and byways of the Lone Star state.
