How hard are red-tailed chucks to find?

Knormal Apr 24, 2007 06:30 PM

I've been looking into getting a chuckwalla for a while. My favorite color morph/subspecies/whatever is the red-tailed chuckwalla, but in the last year or so that I've been casually watching the classified on this site I've never seen that kind pop up. Are they particularly hard to find, even for a chuckwalla, or am I just looking in the wrong manner?

On a similar note, since they seem to be rarer are they a lot more expensive than a regular western chuckwalla? I'm willing to spend $200-300, which seems to be about what chuckwallas go for, but if a red-tailed goes for a lot more than that then I'll just settle for a regular western, if I can find one of those even.

Thanks for any input.

Get in contact with Lindsay Pike at Urotopia. He will have some about the end of summer or early fall. Should be less than 300.00 for sure. Tell him Tom Greb said you want on the waiting list. Tom
