Ah I have never heard of dragons having mites. Soak the dragons. If they are actually mites they won't live on the dragons (or so I have been told)

There are sprays that kill mites on reptiles. They are available at many online supply stores. You have you get rid of all of your substrate, and soak all of your basking rocks and decorations in a bleach solution. Then you need to scrub out your tank. Then you need to keep your dragons on paper towels and give them baths daily and scrub their tank daily and use the parasite spray every other day. After a week you can return their substrate.

Dragons can and do get mites. The no pest strip thing is not a good ideal as others mentioned. The best way to get rid of mites on dragons is to soak them (make sure the dragon has something to rest on) in water about 80-90 F. Also, you have to entirely clean out their cage, srub and submerge all furnature, throw out all substrate. Remove any visible mites off the dragon after each soaking (if they don't drown and float off themselves). Pay particular attention to the head, underneath the beard, armpits etc where airbubbles can prevent water from drowning the mites.

Put the dragon back in it's clean and dried enclosure with minimal furnature (basking log and hide that's it) on papertowel or newsprint. Repeat everything every day. You can buy the mite sprays and stuff for reptiles to help kill the adult mites, I am not sure if they have any for eggs or larva that are not on the dragon.

Also, clean your hands before and after handling the dragon and it's cage to make sure mites are not spread throughout the house or to other reptiles/animals.
