Eggs stuck together

Spiddy Apr 25, 2007 03:09 PM

This morning one of my females laid, and the two eggs were adhered to each other. I did not attempt to separate them, and simply placed them in my incubator as Siamese twins. Has anyone had this experience and success or failure with it? Will this rob the eggs of oxygen in any way? Are there any other downsides to this occurrence? The eggs were just laid when I found them, and if I were going to attempt to separate them, I think that was my window. By now, six hours later, I'm sure they've hardened. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Just leave them alone... They are fine being stuck together... In the wild, do you think leos lay their eggs in individual thumb prints made in the substrate??? LOL...

Dont worry, they will be fine... It has happend to me numerous times...

Thanks for the insights. These are actually knob-tail gecko eggs, but this particular forum's got so many knowledgeable people, I knew it was the place to go.
