Hit a buddy's property this past Saturday which is usually good for helleri, rosy's, gophers, etc.
Saw none of the above, but 3 of these guys... the first one was a BEAUTY, and had a seemingly ENDLESS supply of musk...

Love those San Diego locale Kings. They've got that distinct brown and yellow, moreso than the coastals you find up here in the Santa Susanas or the Santa Monica Mtns. Great pics. Thanx for sharing.

Find a king like that one which has a seemingly ENDLESS supply of musk, and make sure it covers every nook and cranny of your hands and wrists with it...
