replacing starters on fluorescent fixtures.....help

HerpGirl Aug 14, 2003 10:02 AM

i couldnt find a forum specifically for lighting so i just picked a forum that i visit regularly. i have a flourescent fixture that wont work so i took it apart.... several times. i think that it has a bad starter thing... ive always been told thats what they are. its the cylandrical(sp?) thing that makes the light flash. since they come out so easily i figured u could buy a replacement for a couple of bucks instead of buying a whole new fixture. anyone know if u can or where i could get a replacement?
sorry this isnt about leos but i couldnt find a specified forum.
thanks
