Fishing

I’m trying to mix up my food sources even though I feed crocodilian feed I still think mixing it up is good. My question is does any one feed fish like catfish and stripers to there crocodilians.

When ever we go fishing my croc's get the fish, we usually catch blue gil, perch, base, etc.. Once the fish are caught we put them in a container and bring them back alive, then the fish are released into the croc ponds.

Gives us something to do on Sundays, saves a few bucks and helps keep the croc's full and happy!

oh I almost forgot to mention ... on the way back from fishing, we usually stop at McDonalds for fish sandwiches, but we get these not the croc's, LOL

LOL yeah Mc Donald’s is too fatty for the crocs but always tasty for us. Thanks for the response.

I wouldn't feed any wild fish because you don't know what kind of chemicals or toxins are in the water. Even if it is a private pond because the pond will still get fun off from other properties.Crocodilians get more nutrition out of rodents and meats anyway. Hope this helps. Ronnie
