Some good news...

A little off topic but i got accepted to Harcum today. They have a really great Vet Tech program which is why i am going, I want to specialize in exotics which philly really lacks in. Just thought id share some the good news.

Congrats man. I am a biology major at IU, but I am taking next year of to pay loans and what not and vet school is something I am looking into. Anyway Congratualtions and GOOD LUCK!

Congrats, I did the vet tech thing for awhile w/ domestic animals. I didn't like it, but exotics is a different story. Good luck

That's cool Dave. Congratulations. You're right about there being a lack of exotic specialists in the area. However, my wife works at a vet in Boothwyn that sees reptiles, although they don't specialize in them. In Aston, there is a vet that actually does though. Birds and reptiles. Where are you in Philly?

Congrats Dave! I'm looking into going down a similar path myself in the next year or two.

There is a very good vet in Somerton, Somerton Animal Hosptial, named Dr. Gulliford. He works with a lot of reptiles and birds. He is a very good guy and knows his stuff. If you want his info give me an email.
