These are some of my sub-adult Coastals. The first 2 pics are of the same Tyrrell Co, NC female taken with and without flash. The second is a hypo. The hypo has lighter gray bands than all of my other hypo Coastals. All came from Tony D in 2005.

I can't tell you how many times I've regretted selling that Tyrrell Co animal! I'm glad she has gone to someone who's taking good care of her. She was one of the nicest I ever came across.

I should add that the Tyrrell female isn't locality pure. She actually has some MD blood in her. Tony has been working on getting the hypo genetics into an animal that has the looks of the Tyrrell locale, making this female a possible het for hypo.

Thanks for the clarification Paul. When you first posted her I thought that she was my original locality animal I sold awhile back. In outcrossing these coastals I'm trying to keep the lineages straight. The "southern type" project so far has proved very promising and has produced some really nice looking animals. I'll post some pics of the adult hets and the hypo (sibling to your female) later.
