I just recieved a call from a friend of mine with Florida Fish and Wildlife. He said they are setting traps from Venice to Boca Grande to try and eradicate all the Iguana's. He asked me if I would be willing to house some instead of Euthanizing.. Of course I agreed but there are purportedly going to be way more than i can handle... Who ever is interested should probably get in contact with Sarasota and Charlotte County Fish and Wildlife Agents to provide homes for these otherwise they will be euthanized.
Oh yeah , The Nile Monitors are being eradicated as well from Cape Coral.
