question about my leucistic rat

is it normal for a baby luecistic rat snake to rattle his tail while being touch???

Rat snakes sometimes rattle their tail when they are scared. They want you to think that they are a little rattlesnake so you will leave them alone, lol. I don't think it has anything to do with being leucistic or not, I've seen other rats do it, as well as kings and gophers.

yeh that was exactly what he did rattle his tail like a rattle snake..I thought he mite of had a broken tail or something..thx for the info Shawn
