CB ATBs and handling

antr1 Apr 27, 2007 05:03 PM

Are CB ATBs more acceptable of handling? As they grow do they become tamer? I know they are considered one of the least handlable snakes, but does that reputation come from the days where all that was available were wild caught?

All the juveniles I have produced have had attitudes right from the start. They will sometimes get used to being handled but always have a chance of striking without warning. I never trust them near my face. Its the nature of Amazons to be defensive.
