Came home from California to find a nice little group of 10 white eggs all fertile. Yippee!! One down and three to go.

Congratulations Russ. I've got my first clutch as well. She started laying right before I went to work last night, and when I came home I had 9 beautiful eggs ready to go in the incubator. These are the parents.

Thanks guys/gals. Ken that is great news too. Where did the pair come from in the photos you displayed in the previous post? Are one of those from Dick Bartlett by chance?

Man, hard to believe it's that time of the year again. Exciting to say the least.

That's awesome Russ. I'm waiting on a couple of clutches myself with some females in pre-egg laying shed cycles. Anyway, don't forget to post pics when they hatch out! Congrats.

Jonel,
Don't you live in San Jose? I just returned from a business trip from San Jose and that is a really cool town. For some reason I thought I remembered you being from that area. Good luck on the thayeri eggs. My next batch of eggs should be here any day now.

Hi Russ

Yes, I'm a San Jose local. Not bad of an area to live in since I can still drive out of the area and places to herp. Thanks for the kind wishes and let us know when they hatch. Take care.

Hi Ken

I'm expecting approx 3 first clutches and maybe 2 second clutches from my females this season. I'm really excited about the abberant greenish male proving his willingness to breed on his first year. I used him exclusively on one female and as a back up on a second. My other males did not disappoint on their eagerness to breed either. Hoping for some nice abberants, orange leonis and milksnake phases, and anything in between this season. We'll just have to see after everything hatches out. We're talking about thayeri after all. Take care.

That is the female you were asking about a little while back. I noticed that Dick is a frequent writer for Reptiles magazine so I contacted them, and they said to send them an email, and they would forward it to him. Hopefully I'll hear from him before too long.
Chris- Those are some awesome looking little Thayeri, but that orange one with the little bat wings is exceptional. Do you still have him/her?

Forgot to tell you about the green male Russ. He came from Dave W of Mountain Kings. He is originally from Dan V.

The orange male with the bat wings was called rocket. His head pattern looked like a rocket. He was the 1st to sell for me last year. I had a ton of inquiries on him.

Wow, what a gorgeous snake. Is there anyway you could ask the buyer to post some pics of him now? I would love to see how he looks. Thanks.

Cool! I've got two ready to burst. The same pair that produced this one was paired this year too. Can't wait to see what they produce again.
