As of today, all of my outdoor turtles are present and accounted for here in central VA. They have all emerged from hibernation in good health: only one had a problem, a slightly goopy eye which is clearing up nicely now. Some lost a little more weight than others but none are conspicuously under-weight.
Off to a pretty good start... Yay!

My girls who've been in the pen for only a week now were all out & ready for food this AM.
They look so much more happy out there!
I'm gonna love this outdoor life for them if they keep looking good like this.

Thanks! One was a 3 yr. old that I had raised from a hatchling: it was her first-ever hibernation and she came through with flying colors. I'm very pleased.
