Some random Saturday pics. D/U death

rainbowsrus Apr 28, 2007 03:29 PM

This is Rusty, He's developed this wierd browning of his red. You can see it starting about 6 dorsal blotches back from his
head. That's not shadows, there is a clear color difference within the same dorsal blotch with his right side remaining
red while the left side has turned brown.

While I was cleaning, I found Tawney had shed so of course I had to get a freshly shed pic:

And some off topic pics of some of my boas:

Reeses, my Salmon from Summit reptiles, this guy is the most extreme hypo I've ever seen

Newly arrived is Tahoe, half brother to Reeses, crappy pics but he's in quarantine so can't take my usual pics

Two salmon Possible Jungles from Pete Kahl both shed last night as well:

Amber,

And Snickers

Lastly is Cinnamon, she's a possible homozygous salmon bred to a another pos jungle I have. She's looking really
good, thermoregulating to 87ish degrees and holding her tight heat conservation coil.

Oh, yeah, these are some older pics of Skittles, Cinnamons pos jungle mate, I really don't think he is a
jungle but still have my fingers crossed.

I speak to highly of your animals Dave but Reeses is crazy!!!!!!!!! Tahoe is very promising also and the orange from the bottom is just amazing so u would be lucky if you had a really nice anery brb, oh wait a minute u got one of those too haha lol. Tawney is spectacular as always and Cinnamon is a monster in all your pics. How big is Cinnamon in length out of curiosity? Thanks for sharing that distinct collection

Thanks Bob, Tahoe is a really nice salmon but Reeses is insane.

Cinnamon is right around 6 feet plus/minus a few inches. Don't want to take her out to get a true measurement.

How's the back treating you? You've been missed around here!!

the back is slowly slowly slowly getting a little better but my shoulder is feeling a lot better cuz of that cortizone shot but thanks for asking though. I've been trying to tie up all the loose ends before the May 15th matter (that e-mail I sent you) Other than an extreme emotional rollercoaster, my snakes are thriving and so is so is my son Dom so I am very grateful and everything else will fall into place but all I need is time that's all. It feels good to be back and I truely miss reading yours and Frank's posts. I haven't turned on the computer in awhile til last night and not seeing the rainbow forum on the boa page(old home page) and it threw me for a loop at first but now I'm settling back in Sorry your breeding season is over but I'm hoping your results will be astounding nonetheless. Thing is glowing in those new pics since they are out of the q-room but he has always glowed though but it can't hurt to tell u again Take care Dave

Glad to hear your injuries are healing (or at least feeling better) !!!!

How's it looking for the 15th? Might settle then and not drag on to the 30th I hope!

You have been missed here and as always, home and family first, pets a close second and forum somewhere down the list from there. We'll be here when you're ready to return full force!

Don't be sorry about breeding season being over, That's the next logical step towards birthing season and that's my favorite season of all!! Love to find the new little finger biters. You might want to buy some bandaid stock this year, I expect to singlehandedly up their sales volumes.

Take care Bob, you're in our thoughts and prayers!!

I wish we could settle but first the 15th then the 30th then a June date or two then we'll be getting somewhere I would love one of those bandaid biters myself like a female to go with a male I have that is gonna be breeder worthy but my normals are just my spoiled pets and the exotics (morphs) are for trading and/or selling to get more snakes and caging so I can fill my need for more snakes that I can't afford haha lol I just want to put it back into this hobby cuz it makes me happy and that goes along way in my book In a few months I'll post a pic of one of males that I hope turns into a Hook or maybe a very close looking cousin of his but I want his color to come in a little better. My hypo from Mike is just, words can't describe what I feel when I look at her but Dottie's color is amazing but u know that too and I only hope that mine can rival that one day and them having the chance to be het. anery just is just the icing on the cake. So I hope they both prove out for us but I hope I find out before you with mine haha. You have so many breeding decisions to pick from it makes me sick but I hope your anery from Brian is just like Tawney or better but he won't be able to go until the 2010 season like my girl uh oh!!
