Humidity

DeanBright Apr 28, 2007 06:52 PM

My eggs appear to be doing well, but my dad thinks that the humidity might be too high. The eggs aren't really turning brown, and I learned from my first clutch that the humidity needs to be fairly high. The humidity is at 95% is this too high? I have allowed for more ventilation, and will keep an eye on them to see if there are any changes.

If there is danger of condensation dropping on the eggs, I would add more ventilation. I have also used Perlite in the past and noticed my eggs would always turn a light brown...they still would hatch just find. I found it odd they never stayed white.
