new air pump!

elz Apr 29, 2007 07:22 AM

I have never had an air pump in with my sliders before so i was worried they wouldn't like it, but they seem to love it at the moment they are always swimming over the bubbles. but could this cause the any damage or am i being stupidly paranoid?
its only a small pump.

My western painted is 13 years old this year.
He was quarter sized when I got him & from day 1 he has always loved to play in his bubbles!

There was a time in his life when we changed to our first canister filter and that filter didn't produce any bubbles for him. He looked at me like HEY where's my bubbles?
I bought an air pump & air stone just to make bubbles for him.
He still loves to play in the bubbles today.
Don't worry about it, let your turtle have fun.
