hi, do you turn off your heat lamp at night? for a long time, i never did, and i never knew why my brown anole was so stressed all the time. Last night, the bulb must have burned out, and the light was off. i was a bit nervous as the temp was about 66, but i read that nighttime temp is between 60-70, so i figured it was ok. Anyways, my brown anole looks so much less stressed, and my green anole is just very happy (but then again, she always is...

Thanks,
Matt

u MUST turn the lamp off at night, if you dont they may die. how well do you think you could sleep with 24 hours of daylight and 96 degrees ALL THE TIME? get a timer and keep it at 6-8 or 6-9.

It shouldn't be 98 at night, obviously, but it shouldn't be 66*F at night either if it's a brown, considering where they come from! Just bringing that up... maybe there's another option here.
