Today I saw some reptiles that my college's lab keeps...and saw an awesome black rat. My interest in them has rekindled.
All I know is that they're amazingly easy to keep(possibly breed before I try colombian rainbows?). Thing is...I don't know how large a cage the average adult Black Rat needs. I know they can get 6 plus feet...but the ones I've seen have been around 4 maybe 5.
Pretty much any info on keeping black rats is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
This isn't a rat snake...but my prized posession in my small collection.
