Wild caught speckled king

Picked him up at Hamburg. He's easily over 4'. A couple of battle scars but over all in great shape. I really don't recall seeing a speckled this big.

I will. He's only been in captivity for a month and is still nervous, although he has readily taken to frozen thawed. I'm trying not to handle him to much (it's hard) and haven't stretched him out for a measurement. I'll try to get at least an estimate and maybe some more pics soon. I have a bunch of snakes measured at or around 4' and he easily exceeds 4'( I'm only wrong on length estimates 50% of the time). Any pics of your big male?

What locality is that speckled from? Appears to be a Southern Louisiana speckled. Very nice.

This guy was apparently just captured in the beginning of April. He has yet to refuse FT mice, and although a little nervous, he handles pretty well.

Very nice!
Biggest one I ever found was a 58" male from Cameron parrish, LA. about 15 years ago (used to live in LA. and literally found hundreds there). He was missing a small part of his tail, so he could have been around 59", (best guess). They DO get big, but not as frequently as the Easterns I've found in South Georgia.
