One of my yearling three-toed has developed a cyst or tumor on its neck. Any suggestions on what to do?

Is it possible its an ear abcess? Ive heard about that happening though I have no first hand knowledge. Possibly do a search for photos of ear abcesses and compare with what your turtle has? If it is, It will need to be lanced so a trip to the vet would be required. If it isnt.. then a trip to the vet is definitely required to determine what is wrong.

Good luck to you.

I have seen many ear abscesses- because of working in vet hospitals. What you describes sounds like that's the problem although from a computer I can't say for certain that's the problem.
My advice is always to take a turtle with the condition to a vet. Lancing these things is painful and a vet can do this with the use of medications to stop the pain.
They also need antibiotics, only a vet can prescribe the correct ones needed.
They recover very quickly when a vet who knows what he or she is doing treats them.
It's worth the money to have them treated properly.
Good luck with this & let us know what happens!

Take it to a vet to be evaluated and treated if necessary.
