I haven't seen Rob around for quite some time in here and I for one miss his presence, his insight, his knowledge, his input and his support for his fellow herpers.

Rob, if you happen to read this I hope you make your way back here to this forum where you are known, where you are well respected, where you are appreciated, where you are warmly welcomed and justly recognized for who and what you are and for what you contribute to the hobby and to the forum discussion.

Hope this didn't come off too sappy. This forum is just a bit lacking without Rob's presence and insight in it and I felt the need to say something about it.

Anyone else miss Rob?

I know he is a very busy man, but hopefully will be able to come back on again in the near future.

Yes, he is greatly missed here. His insight and educational attitude and always helped so many on here.

Come back Rob! :D He's very busy all the time so no doubt he'll stop in as he can. ;D

Hugs!

Anybody know where he went to. Not taking anything away from Rob. Rob is the man, so is Kelly and High End, but Brian helped me many years ago and I have not seen him on since.

Thank you

Jeff

Brian got out of the hobby a few years ago-had some interesting projects started, sold his animals(may have kept a couple favorites) and stopped posting.

I've pulled away from the forums for a number of reasons but most importantly, I am just slammed right now at our wildlife center. Between being in the thick of our school field trip program season (a special rattlesnake conservation program that reaches over 10,000 students each year), being understaffed due to budget cuts (which means this curator enjoys more time cleaning crap - and I really do enjoy that part of the job), lots of speaking, teaching college courses, and doing an extensive herp research project......and then, toss in my family who does enjoy spending some time with me (not to mention my own herps that I keep at home - I must be crazy), you can see why I haven't been around much. I am always available via email and I don't see my schedule getting any easier for the next few months as I am getting ready to start leading week long field herping trips for middle school and H.S. students. Hey, I'm not complaining though - 24/7 herping for a career; I'm a blessed man.

I'll be back and will try to poke in from time to time.
