Hey guys, we just finally got Lizzy moved into his new house. We had to make sure that the temp was right (lighting gets expensive!) and then the transfer... and wow! Did he ever enjoy the space! Running from one end to the other, climbing everything and hunting in his new "feeding ground"! Here are some pics of the finalized house
I apologize for the glossy look on some of the pictures but plexiglass isn't the best thing to photograph through. We originally had glass but one thing after another (we cut it ourselves lol bad idea!) and a piece broke... so we had to start from scratch with plexiglass
Now all we need is a lady friend for him.. any offers? LOL
Here are some of him in his old house before the move:

Climbing in his worm dish after he ate'em all.. lil glutton! You can see his calcium supplement in the reflection lol oops!

And here he is in his new place:

The flannel sheet/bricks are for heat retention. There is a slight gap at the top that we found was letting too much heat out... he still has plenty of ventilation

You can see him on his primary basking rock. That is just below a spot lamp. The ledges in the background were handmade by me and my fiancee... what fun! He has a hide in the far right corner.

This is a better close up of his hide. What a job it was trying to get it to fit lol! And making sure everything was secure so he can't hurt himself.

These are the doors to his feeding area. He's easy to bait in there... a few crickets seemed to draw his attention post haste! We can then shut the doors. This makes monitoring his eating and removing extra crickets a breeze

And we had to give him something to play on in his feeding area. We're going to be upgrading this section a little bit more and we now have a smaller water dish in his free roaming area so he doesn't get too thirsty.
So what do you all think? Any comments/concerns/questions? I now have an empty 33 gallon aquarium hehe... looking at getting a Bibron Gecko? Cool looking guys!
