Yikes! My bearded dragon has a green foot! The only reason I can think of is that he sometimes stands in his new food, which has green pellets in it, but also red ones soo... I'm confused. What's going on? Is he sick or am I just being paranoid?

The pellets most likely contain a dye that has discolored your beardies foot. Have you tried soaking him in warm water and gently rubbing his foot to see if it comes off? If it is the dye in the food it could take a bit to come off, kind of like koolaid - when that stuff gets on your skin it's hard to get off. I don't know what else would cause your beardies foot to become green. My first guess is that it's probably the food like you thought.

My dragons get the same thing from the pellets, only they get it when they step in their poop. Just like Veronica said, try to wash it off…
Good luck…
