I have been thinking about breeding my 10 inch leopard tortoise. She is extremely healthy, spends most of the year outside. I have had her for 6 years and she's never had a problem.
I recently found someone locally with 2 males who would be willing to work something out for breeding.
What would be the usual arrangement? I was thinking that I could borrow the male for a while...any particular season or timing?
What is standard payment, money, a couple hatchlings, or?
