Looks like the first little group of eggs my female corn was only the beginning. She laid a large mass of eggs, some which look rather small, others look nice and healthy...and one looks like it was squished after being laid or broke not long after... They are all in the incubator now..and I realize I should have taken pics. Oh well.

They of course are all in a big clump...and even more annoying, stuck to the bottom of the egg laying bin. Mental note for next time, line egg laying bin with wax paper. Since I couldn't get the eggs out of the egg laying bin, I just covered with damp vermiculite and a slightly damp paper towel to cover the eggs (lid of the egg laying bin has a big hole, so didn't think it would trap moisture well, so use paper towel to keep humidity in and an easy way to check humidity) and stuck the entire thing into the incubator. Now I am really glad I decided to build my own cooler incubator instead of buying a hova bator...no way I could have gotten the egg laying bin into that LOL.

Now...its time to wait...

and to wonder....will I get a bunch of normals...a few amels or other exciting results? What are the hidden hets of these two normals? previous owner didn't know...and only thing I know about this females last clutch with this male, is the babies were interesting...as the previous owner didn't incubate, and the person who did, when I finally met him, couldn't remember exactly...hence the 'interesting' description...what is interesting? LOL

But hey, that is the fun of corns....these days you never know what to expect out of a captive bred normal looking corn snake.

Now, will these eggs hatch before, during or after the IHS?
