What size encloser?

blaze555 May 01, 2007 07:08 PM

I am about to get a 20 inch nile and I was wondering what size encloser I should put him in. Would you use the same size encloser as you would house a 20" gator or do they need more room? Would a 75gallon tank work or would I need one of those metal cow feed bins? I have future plans once he gets bigger.

Thanks

I would get a cattle trough. Your croc will outgrow a 75 within a few months if you care for it properly. A larger cattle trough(use 300 gallons) will give you at least a year before you have to build the next enclosure.

What you have to look forward to below:

Niles, Niles, everywhere there are Niles!

HELLO
Which are the measures of a cattle trough with that capacity?
And, that cattle trough will be enough for a croc with a length of ???
How big can a nile get in one year?
