For all of you who saw my post down below that says help!!! I have an update. I have kept on putting terramicin on her eye everyday and it's getting alot better. I dont' think she's gonna die! Also will they just breed on their own or do i have to do a cooling period? Thanx for the help! Katie

im not sure if i read your post below but i can answer your question about breeding. im assuming your talking about carolinensis. put the male in with the female and if you notice any breeding then, no you dont have to cool them. if they dont even bother with each other then, yes cool them. sorry thats kinda a weird way to put it but you might be able to get away without brumating them.

Well i have the male in with the female and he's always doing his dewlap and head bobs and she head bobs back. I have never seen them mate though. How exactly do i cool them. Just not turn on the light or get a different wattage? Katie

hehe thats what mine doo, its kinda frustrating huh?! actually my female bobs then the male then the male goes to get her and she runs!! grrr. i dont have the brumation period stuck in my head for the anoles, only the uromastyx otherwise i would post it. you prolly wont need a different wattage, just a rheostat. you lower the temperature, time of day, and u stop feeding, im not sure about the anoles but i know for the uros its like a month or so. sorry i couldnt be of more help. i have a bad memory.

Yea, it is kinda frustrating lol! All you can do is hope. One time my male caught the female but she made sure it was only for a half a second lol! I'll try to get a rheostat. I also have an incubator so if i do find an egg i can incubate it. thanx for the help, Katie PS, how old are you?
