Hello,
I just wanted to get anyones opinion about whether or not you think feeding rodents to snakes that have been gassed by CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) is safe for the snake or not.
thanks,
Matt Oakley

Yeap. It's considered the most humane way to euthanize rodents to be used as prey items. CO2, the same stuff found in carbonated water, is non-toxic and is found in the body as a by-product of metabolism. Most commercially available frozen rodents have been euthanized with CO2.

It's also, of course, in the air your snake is breathing and the water he is drinking. Not much point in worrying about it...
