I was reading back through the posts and saw that you're in N. Houston and have an awesome outdoor enclosure. I'm in Kingwood and I was thinking about building a pen for the back yard. It will be much smaller than yours, probably 6'x6'. It'll probably end up being a day pen for summer so my chuck (maybe chucks by then) can maximize natural sunlight, but I have few questions. What is the bottom of the pen made of to keep them from digging out or anything else from digging in, and how far is it underneath the soil? The pictures look like about half of it is covered at all times, is this accurate? Also have you had any problems with birds or other predators? What types of plants are planted in it. Really any other info you have time to send would be great as I'm trying not go into building it blind and I'm not a big fan of trial and error. If you want to send me a message instead posting here that's fine. Sorry for the bombardment of questions, please reply when you have time. Thanks,
HH
