Is it possible for a corn to accidentlly

lay an egg?????
My Blizzard laid only 1 egg two days ago and it had some "pee" near it....So far it looks good..nicely round and white...
She is now getting ready to lay more eggs...I can see them at the end of her tail....Hope all goes well for her...

Snakes sometimes lay single eggs (which are usually infertile) before dropping a clutch.

So far the egg looks good and it's in the incubator until it goes bad....hopefully it doesn't......

they are correct......the ones laid before and after the "whole " cluth are usually duds.......keep it.it will turn greenish blueish when it goes bad.....good luck....

I have had them lay an egg or more a day for a few days before or after clutches and never had one hatch.....

Oh, by all means, if it looks good, incubate it. There's no harm in that! But I will say that I've had "good" looking eggs dropped before and after the clutch and they've always went bad. I don't know why they don't come out looking infertile from the "get go," but that's what I've experienced.
