Amelanistic annulata

Burnsy May 02, 2007 12:45 PM

Hi,

as I remember right I once saw pics of an amel. annulata.

Can someone give me some more input? What happened to the line(s), what is the origin of it (any locality)? They still seem to be pretty rare in the hobby, can someone post some pics and/or report if there are any differences in care then with the normal looking ones?

Thanks,
Gerrit

Susan Hardy at Hardy Reptiles has some and one is pictured on their website, so maybe they can give you some more information about them.

Good Luck,

If I recall (couple of years prior) they were asking in the neighborhood of $4K for the amels and sold out of the initial offering.

Not certain what the market value might be at present - if you could track one down.
