My female laid eight good eggs last week. My breeders are matched locality-specific from unrelated San Antonio Zoo and Ft. Worth Zoo lineages. Really cool bairdi. Completely different from Texas specimens.
Here is the male (San Antonio Zoo/curator Alan Kardon stock).

Wow, Shannon. Nice animals. Ya' know, one thing I've noticed is how variable they all are - no two look alike. I'm really quite excited to see how these future babies turn out when they go through the change.
