My new Green female anole keeps climbing the glass and rubbing her nose on the glass. she is also digging under the bark and rubbing her nose on that too. CAN SHE HURT HERSELF DOING THIS?

she isnt gravid is she? she may be digging in the bark looking for a place to lay eggs. is she isnt gravid then make sure she doesnt have any loose skin on her nose she is trying to get off. if neither of those is the case than make sure you have enuff vines and stuff in the cage for her to climb on. she may end up getting rostral abrasion if she keeps rubbing her nose and that can easily get infected. if you notice any rostral abrasion be sure to put a little neosporin on it, but only put it on the top of her nose, if you put it on her snout she will just lick it off.

ok, she doesn't look gravid, but i wil keep my eye out for any more signs of it. also, she does climb on alot of stuff, and the only time she really rups her nose on hthe glass and stuff is when i'm watching her (which is alot). It's almost like she wants to come outside the tank and see me ! lololol

if you honestly thinks she wants out, then get her out and hold her. my guys will be brown in their cage so i will take them out and they will sleep on my shirt and turn green. i dont do that often tho.

Yes, she can get hurt a lot! If you really love your pet, set it free to the wilds where it truly belongs.
