What morph/color would this be?

shuggie728 May 02, 2007 08:05 PM

Hes about 5ft, the pictures don't do his beauty justice. He is literally RED as can be.

I thought salmon at first but was told that hes not.

Any thoughts?

I'm not sure I quite understood that.
A wild trait?
Meaning a exceptional normal RTB?

I think he's saying, that it's a great looking normal phase (wild type). Some call this a pastel because its lacking the regular amount of black, allowing the coloring to show. There's a difference in Salmons (hypos) which is a dominate genetic color morph.

normal Colombian.
If it's any consolation, he is better looking than many morphs!

That Boa Rocks!!! Honestly it may be a normal pastel to some...but in the Morph world that would be one of the most sought after boas around!!! Good luck with that one!!

Clearly a very wicked screaming mindblowingly colorful Pastel Boa. And a male too boot. To the fellow who thinks this is "normal". I will buy all the "normal" Boas you have like that for many times the price that "normal" Boas go for.

Great looking animal! Are you, and that animal, in the US or elsewhere?

In northern california.
I run SnakeCharm Reptile Rescue and recieved him when his former owner of 3 years rescued him from a friend of his.
The boa is 9 years old and was only getting a pinky mouse once a month but for the past 3 years hes been on large rats and he has quite the temper.
But he is a beautiful snake and he always seems to be shedding so its difficult to get really good pictures of him.
I will try to snatch some good ones next week for you guys. thank you all for your responses.
Its nice to know what I have and to those of you asking if hes for sale. hes not, hes a perminate resident but if i do ever decide to adopt him out, i will post here.
