Leucistics are born!

scott_felzer May 02, 2007 09:30 PM

One of our het leucistic female easterns had 20 babies late last night, 5 leucistics and 15 possible hets (flames). Of these 3 leucistics and 6 flames are healthy, the rest were stillborns and/or deformed.

Thanks for the kudos guys. The adult leucistic passed away a few years ago, shortly after giving birth. I accidently included her pic in w/ the baby pics. A peachish/orange flame produced these babies.

Beautiful snakes! What is that lovely silver one in the middle of the first picture? It looks different from the rest.

Thanks everyone. I need to take a closer look at that silverish one. I'll try and get some good shots of it and post them on here.
