New Idea!

superdave1781 May 03, 2007 08:34 AM

Hi all! Even though I don't post much, I try to keep up with this forum (although lately it has been hard to keep up with everything!) So I don't know if this has been mentioned already or anything, but I thought it would be cool to see. Do any of you have good pics showing the color change from day to night?? I don't have any good pics of my BRB yet, but I'm going to try to soon (my digital camera does NOT take very good close up photos.) I love viewing mine at night because her background side color becomes completely white. BTW, if anyone remembers, I posted awhile back about the poor shape my BRB was in when I got her...well, now she's growing like crazy and will eat anything put in front of her!! It's very fulfilling to bring one back from being lethargic and severely dehydrated (pet shop had no one with a clue how to care for it)to how she is now!!! But back to the idea: do any of you have pics you can post of your BRB, one showing day color and another showing night color??

I do not have a great daytime photo, but here are two of Minnie. The second is the night photo. Minnie has very light sides no matter day or night. Both of these photos have not been enhanced at all.

I've posted these two pics several times so not a new idea but I'd love to see others do the same!!!!

This is Savannah, she was my rescue, I bought her as an adult with dry skin and crusty eyes. I could see the color behind all that and look at her now.

Here is Savannah again, Both pics taken on same day, The one above at around 10:30 AM, this one about 12 hours later, she has her nightie on. Look at the difference in her sides.

tired of these those photos again jk lol Dave you ever notice your change of color on your hypos which I'm sure you do. I have always played and/or fed my snakes at night exclusively and I don't have a nightie on my hypo (I know not all brb's have the true WHITE WALLS) but what I do notice about my girl is that her color is very strong during the day and pastelish at night. I have always took pics at night before too and her color is not near as vibrant as her day color which I totally understand but never caught it before cuz it is rare that I throw light on her unless I'm taking pics, other than that never. Thanks for all the informative info on the recent mail btw

Tha's just too darn bad, I like em and have then ready for quick posting any time.

Yeah the Hypo BCI's do lighten up as well at night, just not so drastically. Funny though, Reeses is at his most intense in the evenings. Also the cherry salmons are darker during the day with more intense colors showing up at night.
