Iguana shedding

Should I gve my iguana a bath to help him shed his skin?

IMO it never hurts- and it will definitely help with the shedding . Once I see any of my snakes or lizards start to shed(If I can catch it) I automatically give them a warm bath , just to make sure they shed properly.

Bathing is very helpful. Iguanas naturally produce "parting fluid" between their new skin and their old skin. This helps the old skin slide off. But captive iguanas are almost always too dry, and the parting fluid dries out, and the old shed sticks to the new skin.
