Question for the Breeders

steveingram May 03, 2007 02:18 PM

My het ablino female finaly let my tiger het albino male "do his thing". The female shed in late january. She was eating FT rabbits. The male was refusing food. I introduced them before she shed and she kept pushing him off. After she shed, I introduced the male again and she was more "willing". I witnessed several copulations in febuary. At the end of february she shed again and now she is refusing food. She is also hanging out on the cool end of the cage (Vision 600), She is always curled up as tight as she can get. The hot end of the cage is about 90 and the cool end is in the low 80's.

Now, My question is...Could she be gravid and is this normal gravid behavior? Also note that she is back to not wanting anything to do with the male and he is back to eating FT rats.

I would appreciate any input!

Thanks for your time.

My female stoped eating after she did the deed. She stay at the hot end of the cage though. 32 day's after she shed the eggs came. I never did see her copulate though. 31 healthy babies came out of there eggs last week so great luck to you.
