I JUST RECEIVED MY BABY HERMANNS...I'VE DONE QUITE A BIT OF RESEARCH ON PROPER CARE...(I HAVE PRINTED MANY CARESHEETS) I LIKE TO READ THIS FORUM BECAUSE IT IS GREAT TO GET OPINIONS FROM DIFFERENT PEOPLE WHO HAVE RAISED TORTOISES... I WAS JUST WONDERING HOW OFTEN A HERMANNS TORTOISE SHOULD BE FED, AND HOW MUCH??? WHAT SHOULD ITS DIET BE LIKE AS IT GROWS??? I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY HELP OR INSIGHT ANYONE WOULD BE WILLING TO GIVE...

You can feed it daily, as much as it wants as long as it is getting the right foods. Make sure it has the proper hot spot and a humid area (hide).

Also, all caps is considered yelling online.

I figured you didn't know what all caps mean. A lot of people don't at first.

Sorta funny, relevant story:

My aunt nancy, who just started using a computer, sent an e-mail to me, but through the familys group e-mail list. It was in all caps. The next day my aunt lisa calls up aunt nancy and asks her why she was yelling at me. Aunt nancy says i didn't yell at melissa, what are you talking about. Aunt lisa says, the e-mail you sent her, why were you yelling at her. Aunt nancy doesn't understand, so aunt lisa informs her that all caps is like yelling. Aunt nancy tells her she types like that because she can see the letter better (she wasn't aware she could just increase the font size). So, my aunt nancy (who was at work at the time) asks aunt lisa to call my mom and tell her she didn't mean to yell at me. My mom also has no Idea what aunt lisa is talking about so aunt lisa tells my mom what all caps mean. My mom never relayed the message to me that aunt nancy didn't mean to yell at me. So, a few weeks go by and there is a family party, I take a big breath and go up to aunt nancy and say "I'm sorry I made you mad, I think you misunderstood what I was saying". Aunt nancy starts crying and says "I wasn't yelling at you, i'm so sorry I didn't know i was yelling at you . . . " Now she gets teased about it on a regular basis.
