On the left is a Blue-Eyed Blonde that I got (1.1) from Vivid Reptiles in 2005 and on the right is a double het (Ghost & Hypo) from 2006.

The parent's on the double het on the right are:
Daddy is the Hypo (Great Valley Serpentarium-Lavender) and the mommy is a Ghost (het albino). So I know for sure that he is a double het (Ghost & hypo) and a possible het for albino....but he didn't come out normal looking....so I wonder what the mommy Ghost is also het for?

They look similar...but different.... uhmmm? Gonna breed those together in the future as well LOL

I also bred these two again this year.

Dad is a hypo (Great Valley Serpentarium Lavender) and the mom is a Ghost (het albino).

I was expected normal looking babies that would be double hets. Two males came out looking like this and the others from the clutch have a hypo look (different than the dad)...and of course they are also double hets.

Kerby,
how is it het for ghost and hypo and its a double het?I am a bit confused. If its het for ghost then its het hypo yes but how is it het ghost?were is the anery/axanthic gene from?
Anyway, you know that ghost is a double homozygous so saying its het ghost and hypo is mis leading.
Anyway,it looks hypo already so maybe its hypo het anery?

The term "Ghost" in cal kings is not accurate as I stated in the above thread.

The term "hypo" in cal kings might be genetically more accurate and there are probably 7 or so "hypo" genes in cal kings that are not compatable.
