My female just laid a clutch of 18 eggs every one appears to be a dud...has this happened to anyone else?...is there any possible explainations??

I had a female last year lay 2 clutches of duds. It may be due to the male not being locked up long enough with the female. At least that's what I think happened in my case since the same male fathered a few other clutches.

Yep, many times, they are either past it, not cooled enough, male put in too late, male not old enough,etc theres any number of reasons, i have lots of westerns and get at least one like that ever year, last year i had 2-3.

I incubate until they stink! You never know, have had bad looking eggs hatch.....

Probably so, but as a rule, I never throw any eggs out until they stink. The worst they are going to do is take up a little space for a few days.

What worries me is that I have some healthy corn snake eggs in my incubator..the hoggie duds are already starting to pong...so I'm gonna dump them.
