As easily stressed as chameleons get normally, loud music CAN'T be good for them. I don't have experience with this, but loud noises of any kind can't be good for extended periods of time, I'm sure. Kick out the head banger

we also have a mean dog, will all the barking stress him, and will a chameleon be noticed by it?
hey,i don't think barking will effect him as much as loud music, but your dog shouldn't be around your cham..soo as long as hes not barking in the same room,i think it would be just another animal noise he'd be hearing(like he'd be hearing lots of things in the rainforests)..dogs and other pets can stress your cham out since your cham isn't sure whats going to happen to him and would get stressed out thinking he might have to fight or die..soo you'll notice your cham puffing up when seeing your dog(maybe not at first, but eventually) if you watch him closely..as some chams arent as sensative as others, but its natural instints to think something might happen..i make sure none of my 3 dogs can come around him,and keep them out of my room which me and my lil guy share..its impossible to get them never to be stressed out i bet,but i try..hope this helps

Chams mostly "hear" low frequency vibration, so the heavy loud bass will stress it. Will this dog be able to get to the cham and cage? Is it likely to attack the cage if it sees the cham moving around? The cham will be stressed by seeing the dog let alone barking (if it barks a lot, the low frequency vibration of the sound could bother it) Sounds to me like a cham would have a tough time in your house unless it can have a quiet room far from all the activity.
sorry I was typing in rush , i don't actually have one yet, i'm just figuring out stress factors sorry again
