What's a heat lamp shroud? Is it that cylinder thing hanging down in their cages? How does it work? I wish their website was more self-explanatory. They need a labeled diagram of their cages, like showcase cages has. I'd buy a showcase, but it isn't tall enough. The Vision one is the same height, but it looks like it doesn't have a cut out for the heat lamp, unless that cylinder thing is for the heat lamp. Who has one of these that can help me figure this out?

Better Pics. on the vision web site. I don't know what cage you're looking at but just click on medium or large. It also has a phone number or you could email them with your questions.

I don't love the design of their cages either. At best you will have a 2' UVB running front to back in the center of the cage, not over the basking spot.

I considered all that you are considering too. And eliminated both Vision and Showcages. I wanted to stack and price eliminated cagesbydesign. What I had left with was custom cages or build your own.

Front to back? That's crazy. Oh well. I tried to find a good one. Thanks for your input.
