This ended up being a very exciting litter. It was due on 05/04/2007 and was born on 05/02/2007. I have a female that was due on the 1st and I am still waiting on her.
I walked into the snake room on the 1st to check all my Gravid Boas and I looked in on my female pastel and I found two babies cruising around in the cage. I was worried that she may be bound up. There was also a small amount of urine and some urate in the cage. My other thought was she may have just peed and squoze a few babies out in the process, but nevertheless I worried. I checked her often. I got home from work on the second and she was under the paper. Later that night around 10:00PM I looked in again and finally...BABIES... 16 plus the 2 from the day before... 1 stillborn and 5 slugs... Not bad... I am very impressed with the color and pattern on the Harlequins. It looks like I got about 8 Harlequins plus all the normals are very nice. I wasn't sure what to expect out of this litter, but I am very happy with these Harlequins. I have 2 more Harly litters this year to normals and one harly to harly. The Harly to Harly litter is a breeding loan with Jeremy Stone. He lent me his female and she looks great... She is due June 14... CAN'T WAIT...
