Electric power is out there, among other locations. Stay cool.

How are they going to read this....

OK... A cosmic thought to them....

I'm watching it right now and everyone is out on the streets. I don't even know what I'm watching but it's wall to wall people for miles. I feel bad for them. I hope they get it straightened out soon. Luckily it hasen't hit us here in Massachusetts but we'll see. Only time will tell. Take care, Scott.

My wife and I have been at Six Flags Cleveland the past few days and stayed in the area at a hotel. I'm not sure if Six Flags is being affected right now but I'd imagine they are since Akron is also affected and they are south. What timing on our part to just get away from there before it started up. Otherwise I might be stuck on a rollercoaster right now. LoL I live in Pittsburgh and we are fine here. They said they were able to block us from the outages before they spread here. My BP is thanking them since his heat would go out from that. )

Jeff, on behalf of all "easterners" I (we) apologize that you got no football. We have just been in complete darkness for the last 22.5 hours. I'm in Toronto, and my power went out at 4:15 p.m. Thursday afternoon. I was without both electricity AND water. Forget all this crap about "if it's yellow, let it mellow" I'm NOT at the cottage, and there was nothing 'mellow' at all about this situation. It was one hot night, but I felt especially bad for my chocolate lab Willow, who panted all night. The power finally came back on for me at 2:20 p.m. this afternoon. Time to get some heat to my snakes, and dare to open up the freezer to check on my, hopefully, still rat-sicles. I wish all those still without electricity the best of luck.

I hate for that to happen to you guys in the winter time.

Everything back to normal? My buddy in Brampton is telling me that it keeps coming back on sporadically.

Well, havent't had any of the so-called "rolling blackouts" as of yet. All the snakes are good, and the rats remained frozen. Could have been worse. I suppose. No, not really.
