Phantom Boa - pushing 2 years

bwsmith May 04, 2007 11:49 PM

Phantom Boa is pushing two years and 4' long. Not bad since his mother was only like 5'.

The flash is actually not washing him out that much. He is a ivory-pewter color

Yup, I have a nice big female Nic waiting for him.

Man, he looks really really nice with his added size. I hope you can replicate that appearance, would make an awesome new morph to work with.

That is still the most wicked looking and washed out Pastel on the planet! I loved it the first time I saw it. I wished I had it the first time I saw it! I still wish it were mine if the truth be told! Wicked wicked wicked! Who needs color? WOW!

Great looking Boa that appears to be a Pastel. Pasees all the Pastel tests far and beyond. I hope it proves to me much more than that. And if there is a super version... Now am really depressed that it isn't mine.

WOnderful wonderful animal!

Time will tell al the wonders you may get from that animal but I will speculate with a couple points;

1. If he breeds and produces half a litter that look like him, I predict he will prove to be a visual het for a Leusistic Boa. Wanna sell him? LOL I'm not kidding on either point.

2. I think there is an excellent chance he is het for Anerythristic. Any chance of that that you know of?

Were both parents Colombian? I don't see anything that would suggest anything else. A real smoker!

Here are the pictures of him at one year:

I don't think I have ever heard you babble. However, that is one boa to babble over. LOL

Both parents were primarily "Central American", but they were mutts. The mother maxed out at 5' long. She was sold to the previous owner as a Type II Anery. Which he tail visually looked like. But in the sun, you could see some burnt orange.

Here is momma

What is that? It looks like a pastel anery but it has color on its tail. That is really nice. I can't wait to see what happens with the offspring.
