This is Mariah. She messed her face up a bit on the screen when she first came to live with me. I won't say that she has settled down, but she has at least quit hurting herself. She was captured somewhere, sent to Florida, then to me in New Mexico. Since she has been shipped all over the country, I have to forgive her for being a bit nuerotic.

Wow, how beautiful. All of my collareds are mainly brownish tones except for my aqua colored male. One day soon I hope to add some females with more color. I really love the yellows. Your photos are great.

Mariah may not be the most colorful one in the bunch, but she has cool markings. I've seen photos here of what others may call brown and drab females, but their markings are just so exquisite. Collareds are just awesome, in any color or variety. Next week I am going to Retic country. I hope to just actually see a wild one, but getting photos would be incredible!

I don't think it would be a good idea for me to see collareds in the wild. I would not have enough will power to restrain myself from catching them and taking them all home I hope you have good luck in seeing some. My females don't have any amazing patterns or colors but they are all sweet and I love them. They are our little clowns.

Very attractive markings, I like her gular /neck area, very nice pattern for a female. And I also lover her name!

Thanks Eve. I think so, too. When my mother saw my girls she said "Mariah is ugly, compared to the others." I said "Mom!!! We don't say things like that around her! She is beautiful and I won't have her getting a complex just because she doesn't have bright colors." hehehehe

Well I love the yellow colors, but I think each has it's own beauty, the brown/tan girls are just as lovely.
