Roach Setups!

highendreptiles May 05, 2007 02:22 PM

I just thought that I would start a thread that would show people others roach setups. I will post mine soon when I get a picture. Also post any tips on breeding/setup/heating/other things that you have found to be helpful. I currently have Blaptica Dubia, and Hissing Roaches. I like the Dubias a lot becuase they do not climb glass or some kinds of rubbermaid containers. Well anyway I would love to see your roach setups.

most peoples set ups for roaches are them same since its easy and cheap to do.

30 gallon rubbermaid tub with lid that has air holes in it

egg crate flats stacked standing up like a books on a bookshelf. i use about 7 of them per bin.

dish for water, i use water gel crystals. when i run out and dont have any of those a washcloth or sponge soaked in water placed in shallow container works well.

and another peice of egg crate, maybe 1/2 of a flat, for roach gutload.
